Men
who consume large amounts of dairy products increase
their risk of developing Parkinson’s
disease, which attacks the nervous system. That’s
according to research published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.
Researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences came to this conclusion after analyzing data on more than 57,000 men and 73,000 women compiled between 1992 and 2001. While it’s unclear as to how dairy products act as catalyst for the degenerative disease, previous studies have indicated a link between dairy and Parkinson's.
